okay, so tomorrow, after work, i plan to watch the so-called epic "les enfants du paradis" (1945).
i'm sort of confused, though. y'see, according to imdb, the role of "jéricho" was played first by robert le vigan, but was mostly played by pierre renoir. more precisely, imdb claims that "one of [le vigan's] scenes survives late in the film." so, my question is: am i going to be confused as fuck when this character is suddenly portrayed by someone else, for one scene?
either way, i want to like this film already. one of my customers has been talking it up to me for months now. he'd even given me his two-tape vhs copy, not knowing at the time that i didn't have a vhs player. he's moving back to d.c. soon, and i really want to be able to tell him that i saw the film, and give him some sort of thoughts on it before he leaves.
