did you know that dwight yoakam has his own line of snack foods?! oddly, they're pretty good, and cheap, too. the little single boxes i found at my local walgreens were $1 each. of course, you can probably get a whole banquet microwave dinner for $0.80, but these are actually a little higher in quality, if only marginally. i tried the "chicken licken's" chicken fries, and the "take 'em's" macaroni mouth poppers.
i sort of have to take issue with that last item, though. "mouth poppers"? was there some confusion about where these are supposed to go? if you're perhaps a fan of food-obsessed comedian jim gaffigan, you might argue that they probably ought to go straight into the toilet, but that's a bit unfair.
i dunno about you, but i'm looking forward to a future that includes lyle lovett pizzas, or some willy nelson eyedrops...
