yay, horror movies!
i've been going hog-wild on youtube these last couple of days watching b-movie reviews. there's just something fun about shitty movies. they never get old. here's what i've been watching-
gangrene widescreen-
unfortunately, the vids don't include any voice audio from the creator, just clips from the flicks, with goofy music slapped over them in spots. still, you have to love anyone who doesn't mind people knowing they've sat through voodoo black exorcist.
cinema apocalypse-
this dude creates the vids for a cable access show in minneapolis, but they're perfect for youtube. i really admire his enthusiasm for some of these films. the majority of his comments are positive.
the cinema snob-
pretty much equivalent to the original slew of "angry nintendo nerd" videos. not a lot of special effects or anything, but lots of opinions, and plenty of gratuitous profanity. comes across as very cynical and negative, but clearly enjoys subjecting himself to the torture of b-grade schlock.
i've also compiled a playlist of joe-bob briggs clips. i think i've got every single one on youtube in there, with the exception of some short, 30-second, "plugs" clips. unfortunately, that only means there are 15 videos to be seen. most of them are from his stints hosting his shows on tnt and the movie channel, but there are a few from home videos there too. i wish someone would post clips of his commentaries for films like samurai cop, i spit on your grave, blood shack, and the incredibly strange creatures who stopped living and became mixed up zombies.
